Prof. Dr. Md. Aziz ul huq is Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) of IUBAT. He obtained his PhD from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Dhaka. He obtained his M.Sc. & M. Phil. From the Department of Applied Physics, Electronics and Communication, University of Dhaka. The area of his research is Power electronics, Induction motor drive, computer interfacing, simulation etc.
Previously he was a Faculty of ADUST- Atish Depankar University of Science and Technology. He also served in the Government and different private organizations at senior positions where his responsibility included large scale integrated software design, development and implementation.
He received several overseas training on GIS System management and operation, GPS based Remote sensing an Landuse, Unix & Sun Solaries system administration from Luton University, UK; Silso college , Cranfield University, UK and KAMPSAX A/S, Copenhagen, DENMARK.
Besides his two thesis at M.Phil. & PhD level he wrote another technical book based on his GIS related work which was produced and distributed from KAMPSAX A/S, Copenhagen, DENMARK during May 1996. The name of the Book is “Implementation Of Bangla text In Arc/Info Environment for Map preparation”
