Asikul Islam Asik

Asikul Islam Asik is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology. He completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) from 2022 to 2026. He graduated among the top 10% of his class and was recognized as both a Dean's List awardee and a University Merit Scholar. Before his university studies, he completed his SSC and HSC examinations at Mirzapur Cadet College, achieving perfect GPAs in both.

His research interests lie at the intersection of Renewable Energy, Power Systems, and AI-driven Embedded Systems. For his undergraduate thesis, he focused on "Spinach Cultivars under Agrovoltaic Systems: Microclimate and Yield Response," investigating sustainable energy-food co-production and land utilization efficiency.

Throughout his time at BUET, Asikul completed a variety of academic and laboratory projects. These included designing a smart IoT-based seed storage system, an AI-driven, computer-vision-based automated pesticide-spraying robot, and a digital logic-based elevator call-response system to optimize dual-elevator movement.
