Dr. Khadiza Akter is a distinguished academic, researcher, and academic leader with over 13 years of excellence in power electronics and renewable energy systems. Her expertise in photovoltaic power conversion, advanced DC–DC converter topologies, PV system optimization, grid integration, and machine learning–based solar forecasting positions her as a leading contributor to sustainable energy innovation.

With strong proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, PSIM, PSpice, and advanced engineering simulation platforms, Dr. Akter seamlessly integrates theory with real-world applications. She plays a pivotal role in curriculum development, Outcome-Based Education (OBE) implementation, and academic quality enhancement, ensuring that students are equipped with industry-relevant skills and a strong research foundation.

In recognition of her professional achievements and leadership within the global engineering community, she has been elevated to the prestigious grade of Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) a distinction awarded to professionals demonstrating significant performance, technical excellence, and impactful contributions.

Dr. Akter has published extensively in Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals and internationally reputed conferences, contributing to advancements in high-efficiency photovoltaic converters and clean energy technologies. Her research excellence has been honored with the Best Paper Award at several conferences and a highly competitive Engineering Merit Scholarship during her PhD.

An inspiring mentor and proactive leader, she has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, led departmental academic initiatives, and actively contributed to professional activities through IEEE.
