Takbir Al Qavi is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology. He completed his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), majoring in Electronics, and was recognized with the Dean's Award and a Merit Scholarship for academic performance.
Takbir completed industrial training at Neural Semiconductor Limited, where he worked across Analog IC Design, Digital Design and Verification, and RFIC Design workflows.
His undergraduate thesis applied first-principles computational methods to two-dimensional van der Waals heterostructures for next-generation electronic and optoelectronic devices.
Takbir has completed a range of academic and laboratory projects spanning full-custom CMOS design flows, radio-frequency amplifier design, optical sensing systems, machine learning-based control, and power electronics.

High-Performance Low-Power CMOS Car Parking System Using Cadence Design Flow | Cadence EDA - December 2025 – April 2026
• Implemented a CMOS-based, password-protected car parking system using Cadence EDA tools across the full RTL-to-GDSII flow.
• Verified functionality using directed and layered testbenches; achieved timing, area, and power optimizations. Color Intensity-Based pH Estimation via Optical Sensing | Arduino IDE, Python December 2025 – April 2026
• Developed a low-cost optical pH sensing system using LED and photodiode for real-time measurement, achieving strong agreement with standard pH meters with a focus on portability and low-power design.
Common-Base RF Amplifier for High-Frequency Applications | Cadence Virtuoso - June 2025 – August 2025
• Designed a 5 GHz common-base RF amplifier using gpdk090 technology library with optimization for biasing, impedance matching, and RF performance metrices.
Agrivault: Smart IoT-Based Seed Storage and Environmental Control | ESP32, Arduino IDE - June 2025 – August 2025
• Developed an IoT-based seed storage system with automated environmental control and real-time monitoring.
• Built a remote-controlled vehicle with ESP32 for live video streaming and remote inspection over Wi-Fi.
Smart Flood Gate Control System | Python, Keras, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, NumPy, Arduino September 2024 – December 2024
• Designed an automated flood gate control system using LSTM networks for water level prediction and dynamic gate actuation.
• Integrated SONAR sensors, servo motors, and Arduino UNO for real-time adjustments with predictive analytics for flood management.
Hybrid Solar Inverter for Simultaneous DC Charging and AC Power Supply | Proteus, Multisim - September 2024 – December 2024
• Designed and simulated a hybrid solar inverter generating 220 V AC output and variable DC output (2.99 V–8.82 V) for simultaneous loads.
MD5-AES Hybrid Framework for Robust Audio Steganography | MATLAB - January 2024 – March 2024
• Proposed a hybrid security framework combining AES encryption with MD5 hashing to enhance imperceptibility and robustness in audio steganography.
• Embedded AES-encrypted messages into MP3 audio files via LSB substitution; validated perceptual quality using standard metrics.

• Developed and deployed a full-stack class management web application hosted on GitHub Pages using Google Sheets API for upcoming schedules and notices.

Sensitivity Analysis of IEEE 30-Bus and 33-Bus Networks with Cascading Failure Assessment |MATLAB, MATPOWER, PSAF - January 2024 – March 2024
• Conducted sensitivity and cascading failure analysis on IEEE 30-bus and 33-bus test systems to identify critical transmission lines.
• Compared system resilience metrics across both networks using MATLAB, MATPOWER, and PSAF.
